The next morning after eating the deliciously prepared breakfast Blu had cooked, it was time for me to get back to my business.

“What time did you make it in last night?” Blu walked in the bathroom and asked as I showered.

“I don’t know. I think around three,” I lied.

“I’m sorry I left, but I was tired,” she said.

“It’s cool, baby.”

“A’iiight. Well I’m ’bouta run over to my mom’s house; she need some work,” Blu said.

I was happy that Blu and her mom had worked out their differences. I was even happier that her mom was now spending her money with us instead of our competition. “Okay, be careful,” I said, as I rinsed the soap off my body.

“I will. Oh and the mail is on the table. There’s a letter for you wit’ no return address on it,” Blu said before walking out of the bathroom.

“Okay.” I finished showering and getting dressed. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed my keys off the table. I picked up the stack of mail and looked through it. I came across the letter Blu was talking about and opened it up.
